As a lifelong teacher, singer, and musician I have often wondered the value of what I have to offer. I do not feed the poor or save lives. I don’t build anything or make anything you need to survive. For periods of my life, I’ve stopped singing and making music to offer help of what I thought was a more substantial and needed type. Each and every time I left music, music came looking for me and found me again. Finally, I have surrendered fully and completely to music as my offering in this world.
Every bit of music I make is with the intention of creating a moment of well-being for myself and anyone within earshot. I am honored to be able to teach singing and music and give talks on the subject because I have come to believe that music is, indeed, needed in this world. I have it to give in abundance – it would be bad form not to share it.
